1st Watervolleyball Tournament in Villanueva del Pardillo: A Success in Participation and Sporting Spectacular
The past June 17 and 18, 2023, was held in Villanueva del Pardillo, a town north of Madrid, 1st Watervolley Tournament of the 2023 season. High Competition in the Watervolley Tournament
Thanks to the strong tradition of volleyball in the Community of Madrid, the tournament had the participation of federated players of different categories. He raised the level of play in all modalities. The Saturday, June 17, from the 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, the competitions in the category were held Senior men and women, with teams of two participants.
After the Saturday end, the trophy presentation was held in the category absolute masculine and feminine, followed by a party with the group Malagueño Play. This offered the best of music from the 80s and 90s, delighting a devoted audience that filled the Plaza Mayor from Villanueva del Pardillo until almost midnight.
The event was sponsored by sports legends as Rafa Pascual, champion and reference of volleyball, and Jaime Nava. Former captain of the Spanish rugby team, who welcomed everyone and contributed their experience to the event.
A Great Success in Participation and Visibility
With more than 200 participants and a large turnout, the tournament was a real success. social networks exploded with more than 3 million views and more than 90 publications in digital media. Which demonstrates the impact of this event on the sports community.
Children's Competition and Experience for All

The level of the competition was soaring, since most of the participants were federated in volleyball, which left great moments of emotion and skill on the courts.
Commitment to Sustainability
At Water Sport Pools, we also care about the environment. Thanks to the Town Hall of Villanueva del Pardillo, all the water used in the tournament pools was collected and reused for irrigation and sweeping, demonstrating that sport can also be environmentally responsible.
