Watervolley Spain and Málaga City of Sport
An exciting project that couldn't be carried out, but is still alive.
He Watervolley Spain Project – Málaga City of Sport was born with the hope of bringing the most refreshing version of volleyball to one of the most emblematic venues of national sport. A sporting, social, and participatory proposal that sought to combine physical activity, fun and social engagement.
An event designed for everyone
This event was part of a broader initiative to convert Malaga is a leading city for sport. outdoors, promoting healthy lifestyle habits and involving young people, families, and athletes of all levels.
The proposal included tournaments of Watervolley, exhibitions, training areas, and recreational spaces where water would be the main focus. The goal was clear: Enjoy sports in a safe, innovative and participatory environment.
A pandemic that changed everything
Unfortunately, due to the restrictions and complications arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, the event could not be held on the scheduled dates. The health and safety of participants always came first, and therefore the decision was made to postpone the activity.
Despite this circumstance, the spirit of the project remains alive and remains a priority on our roadmap. We are working to resume this initiative as soon as conditions allow.
